The Indian Peaks last-minute permit sells leftover overnight quota for the same Continental Divide camping zones covered by the main Indian Peaks Wilderness permit. It is bookable only within three days of your entry date, making it the best route for short-notice backpacking trips into this popular Front Range wilderness. Because it releases whatever quota is left over, availability appears ad hoc rather than on a scheduled on-sale date.
