The Hoover Wilderness sits along the Sierra Nevada crest on the eastern edge of Yosemite, in the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest, with alpine lakes and passes reached from the Twin Lakes, Green Creek, Virginia Lakes, and Leavitt Meadows trailheads.
